Configure GOLDENEDGE AI for optimal performance

General Settings

License Key

Enter your unique license key provided after purchase. This key is required for the EA to function.

Required: Yes

Magic Number

Unique identifier for trades opened by this EA. Default: 123456. Change if running multiple EAs on the same account.

Default: 123456

Comment

Trade comment that appears in your trade history. Useful for tracking and analysis.

Default: "GOLDENEDGE AI"

Risk Management Settings

Risk Per Trade (%)

Percentage of account balance to risk per trade. Recommended: 2%. This ensures capital preservation even after multiple losses.

Default: 2.0% | Range: 0.5% - 5%

Reward Per Trade (%)

Target profit percentage based on account balance. With 2% risk, this creates a 1:5 risk-reward ratio.

Default: 10.0%

Daily Loss Limit (%)

Maximum daily loss percentage. EA stops trading after reaching this limit. Recommended: 4% (2 losses at 2% each).

Default: 4.0% | Range: 2% - 10%

Max Trades at Once

Maximum number of simultaneous open positions. Set to 1 for single position trading (recommended).

Default: 1

Trading Settings

Trading Symbol

Trading instrument. The EA is optimized for XAUUSD (Gold). Do not change unless specifically required.

Default: XAUUSD

Timeframe

Primary execution timeframe. The EA uses M15 for entry signals. Must match the chart timeframe.

Default: M15

Allow Live Trading

Enable this checkbox to allow the EA to open real trades. Uncheck for testing or demo mode.

Default: Unchecked (must enable manually)

Safety Filters

News Filter

Prevents trading during high-impact news events. Recommended: Enabled. The EA uses an integrated economic calendar.

Default: Enabled

24/7 All Sessions

Bots run 24/7 across all sessions (Asia, London, New York). No session restriction—trading is allowed around the clock with news and daily loss protection.

Always on

News Filter Minutes Before

Minutes before a news event to stop trading. Higher values provide more protection but may reduce trading opportunities.

Default: 30 minutes

News Filter Minutes After

Minutes after a news event to resume trading. Allows market to stabilize after news release.

Default: 15 minutes

Technical Indicators Settings

EMA Fast Period

Fast Exponential Moving Average period for trend confirmation. Part of the golden cross strategy.

Default: 50

EMA Slow Period

Slow Exponential Moving Average period for trend confirmation. Part of the golden cross strategy.

Default: 200

RSI Period

Relative Strength Index period for momentum confirmation. Used to filter entry signals.

Default: 14

RSI Buy Level

Minimum RSI value for buy signals. Higher values are more conservative but may reduce opportunities.

Default: 60

RSI Sell Level

Maximum RSI value for sell signals. Lower values are more conservative but may reduce opportunities.

Default: 40

Recommended Settings for Prop Firms

Risk Per Trade: 1% - 2% (check your prop firm's maximum allowed risk)
Daily Loss Limit: 3% - 5% (verify with your prop firm's daily loss limit)
Max Trades: 1 (single position trading is safer for prop firms)
News Filter: Enabled (protects against news-related drawdowns)
24/7 All Sessions: Bots run around the clock across Asia, London & NY (news filter still protects)
Magic Number: Use unique number if running other EAs

Always test new settings on a demo account first
Start with default settings and adjust gradually
Never risk more than you can afford to lose
